Reiki Power Symbol

In the field of Reiki Symbols have a very important role.  They are the very key in Reiki healing.  We need the symbols to unleash the healing power of Reiki.

Types of Reiki Symbols:

There are two types of symbols

1)    Traditional symbols – a) Power symbol – Cho Ku Rei, Sei Hei ki, Han Sha She Zo Nen, Dai Ko Myo.  In these the first three is taught within level 2 in almost all styles of Reiki.  The fourth one is taught only in mastership training in classical Usui Reiki and it is used in Attuning candidates undergoing training in Reiki.

2)    Non Traditional symbols:  They are many, for example Vasuddha, zonar etc, each with its own application. 

Reiki Power Symbol –Cho Ku Rei and its applications

The power symbol whose name or mantra is Cho ku Rei is a very important symbol because it is the one used to start a reiki session and to close the session.  This is also known as the focus symbol.  This is an all purpose symbol which can be used at any time, for any purpose and also everywhere.

The essential meaning of the power symbol is “placing all the powers of the universe here”.  It works like a switch in the hands of a Reiki practitioner. 

Applications:

1)    This symbol helps to focus the energy at one place. Drawing power symbol on any one particular part of the body help to focus the energies on that particular part of the body.  This is helpful in curing or healing not only acute but also chronic conditions which do have a localized effect.

2)    This symbol empowers other symbols.  Drawing power symbol at the start of a session or any application and than drawing or applying other symbols like the Sei He ki makes the other symbols effective.

3)    During a reiki session if you are encountering stagnated energies than using power symbol mentally will clear away the stagnated energies.  Drawing over the walls and roof of a room vanquishes negative energies from the room.  If you want to clean the area around a physical space than simply draw the power symbol just above the physical space.

4)    Reiki works at various levels: spiritual, physical, mental and emotional level and power symbol gives protection at all these levels.

5)    Applying power symbol to all food items you consume whether liquid or solid like tea, coffee, or any thing like bread, idli or any staple type of food makes them tastier and healthier.  Applying this symbol to water and than drinking will help you in a profound way.

6)    Applying power symbol to all the medicine you are consuming makes them more effective and also minimizes the side effects which might assosciated with those medicines. 

7)    Drawing power symbol over the visiting cards, greeting cards or letters   or any document to be handed over the other person will enhance positive relationship at all levels, professional and personal.

8)    The power symbols assists in achieving instantaneous connection the universal energy and oso using the same helps in preventing the occurrence of bad events or misfortunes.  Inharmonious negative energies around us are the main reason for the occurrence of misfortunes.  By applying power symbol on self or others occurrence of misfortunes is greatly reduced.

9)    While using affirmations using the power symbols empowers the affirmations and makes them more effective and thus it proves itself to be a law of attraction focussing tool.

10)   At the end of a healing session or any type of application using the power the power symbols closes the session.

Regarding the application of Cho Ku Rei or the power symbol we can go on writing about million of application and a few interesting of them I will discuss  in another post in the near future.

REIKI- COMPARED WITH OTHER ENERGY HEALING TECHNIQUES

Man in his attempt for enjoying radiant health devised many a way to develop his health.  These ways can be classified into two.  1) Physical healing 2) non physical healing.  Physical healing includes all type of medical systems like the western medicine, ayurveda, etc In the second comes various energy healing modalities like Reiki, pranic healing , siddha science , etc..  In this post I am going to compare prevalent energy healing systems which are widely popular throughout the world.

THE MOST POPULAR HEALING SYSTEM

Reiki:   

There are many styles of Reiki and among them “Clasical Usui Reiki “

is the most widespread and this is the one I am also practicing right from year 2010 october onwards.  This is a system of energy healing which is very easy to learn and practice

Training methodology:

Any  person aspiring to become a healer in this style has to undergo training at three or  four level

11)     Level 1:  In this level the student is subjected to what is known as attunement.  In this process the trainer or Reiki master creates a link that is permanent between the student and the Reiki energy.  Once attuned the student is always attuned.  In this stage self healing alone is adviced even though the student can heal others also.  Undergoing attunement process is a wonderful one.  It helps to make a before and after observation.  After the training session the student has to administer swelf healing as many times as possibe with a time interval of approximately two and half hours gap.  The next 21 days the student has to make a compulsory practice of self healing and this period is known as the 21 day cleansing period which is very vi

22)  Level 2: This is a very important stage.  In this stage the student is attuned for doing healinggat an advanced level.  The student is given three symbols and their name.  With these three symbols the student has to perform self healing or healing others.  The most important part of the training is that it enables the student to perform distant healing.  After level 2 attunement there is a quantum jump in the energy levels of the student.  Any person who has undergone this training can call himself a practitioner or healer.  After this training the practitioner can also administer healing for financial problems , human relations problems  and do goal manifestation programs either for himselff or for others .

3)    Lever 3 or Master training:   Many Reiki masters have the policy of further dividing this level into two subdivisions Level 3A and 3B.  IN level 3A the candidate is attuned to another asymbol known as master symbol .After this training along with the previously given 3 symbols the student can now use the master symbol also in self healing or healing others but he cannot train others  as healers. In level 3b the student is taught how to train others.  Other masters who don’t follow this policy streaight wasy train the students to train others also. 

A 21 days cleansing period is mandatory after level 1 and level 2.   After mastership training (master healer cum trainer) a one year period of shadowing is essential.  In another post I am discussing about various other styles of Reiki

Pranic healing

This is a system of healing which is much prevalent after Classical Usui Reiki. 

This system of healing was created and popularized by Master Choa Kok Sui a Filipino.  I have attended the basic pranic healing course and it is really very effective. Master choa has borrowed various techniques from various tradition of healing and made it into a single whole system of healing.  For a person to qualify as a pranic healer he or she has to complete the following three levels

11)      Basic level:  At this level the student is taught what an aura is how to scan the aura and find out what problem the patient is suffering with and also how to clean the aura.  What congestion and depletion are? And how to manage them.  Distance healing, distance aura scanning, are also taught at this level

22)      Advanced pranic healing: .  the main attraction of this course is that the student is taught to use color prana and that is really pwerful

33)   Pranic psychotherapy:  At this level the student is taught to handle psychological issues also.

Comparison of above systems:

Both systems are really effective in solving problems of people.  In pranic healing there are many rules and regulations to be followed but in Reiki there are almost no hard and fast rules

Reiki and Diet - Is Diet a Must?

Many people who for the first time experience Reiki and its benefit or those who about to learn or trained in first two levels ask one question without failure.  the question is While undergoing Reiki treatment or training and practice should we also follow a diet regimen? My answer is an emphatic yes.  yes Reiki and diet are inseparable, this i am speaking out of my personal experience.  i will explain why it is a must in the following paragraphs.

About Diet

Whether we like it or not our physical body needs food , yes without eating food we cannot live.  But what to eat and how to eat has been  a great question in the minds of human beings right from ancient times.  It is worthy to note what Hippocrates the father of modern western medical science has said about food.  

                     Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food

What Hippocrates has said is a great truth to be understood and put into practice by every human being living under the sun.   Consuming the right type of food for your body in right quantities is certainly important whether you are involved in Reiki or not.

1)How to decide the right diet

In my humble opinion it is always be a good idea to consult with a nutritionist or dietitian.  If possible you can also consult with the following types of medical practitioners the mainstream doctors of the western medical science, Practitioners of Ayurveda, Siddha, unani, naturopathy( especially those with a B.N.Y.S qualification i.e Bachelor of naturopathy and Yoga) Whatever foods they recommend please start consuming every day and also see to it that at least 30% of food is raw vegetables, fruits and nuts .  Eating of raw vegetables, fruits and nuts will definitely provide your body with easy to digest minerals , vitamins, enzymes and other nutrients and this itself will wipe away many a diseases afflicting you and also boost u your energy levels.

2) Combining Reiki and Diet

If you are about to undergo a treatment program or training then please choose the right type of nutritional foods as i have said in the above paragraph, it will do a lot of good to your health, particularly  during the 21 day cleansing period after an attunement at any level will certainly enhance the efficacy of your Reiki self healing and you will enjoy excellent results..

My Personal Experience

 I was diagnosed to be hypertensive way back in 2001 and all these years i use to gulp blood pressure tablet every and without reducing salt intake.  With passing time i started to have a lot of trouble frequent giddiness , drowsiness, repeated occurrence of fever, sneeze  cold, cough, and pains all ver the body.  I got involved in energy healing in 2005 by learning one system of healing known as Siddha Science founded by one Swami Haridoss with pune as his headquarters.  Initially i started to feel better and i was very happy but after quiet sometime  all problems started  to reappear.  and in 2010  September i got introduced to Reiki again initially i started to feel excellent for quiet sometime and with passing time one by one all my problems started to reappear and after 2013 i started to have severe giddiness and drowsiness continuously, all my works startted to crumble , i had no other way but to stop taking clients.  and frm 2017 October middle onward i started to have severe cold cough sneeze withoout interruption coupled with fever One general practitioner as well as one naturopathy practitioner strongly adviced me to immediately started reducing intake of salt  telling me salt must be the real culprit  and  i followed the strategy of taking salt free Rahi porridge for breakfast and salt free Wheat dosa for supper within a week cough cold , fever , giddiness , drowsiness stopped .  this strategy has brought me wonderfull relief today i am not suffering with giddiness, drowsiness, fever , cold cough, body pains have reduced by 75% slowly but steadyly i am gaining in strength.  Here is a good website about the negative impact of excessive blood salt level..

Conclusion

 Now my humble to request to all of you is to combine Reiki and diet together and enjoy excellent and marvellous results which i wont hesitate to call as miracles.  Even if you are not going to undergo any reiki treatment or training and even if you are healthy still reducing the intake of salt and sugar as well following diets as adviced by professional will do you a lot of good.Siddha science

Distance Reiki Healing - How it Works?

Distance Healing Defined

The possibility f Distance healing or Remote healing or absentee healing is available in energy healing systems and Reiki is no exception. Now we shall see what is Distance Reiki Healing.  it is a situation in which The healer is in one place and the healee is in another place.  After the healee sens his request for healing.  The healer starts transmitting energy through time and space using different  healing techniques like surrogate method or photographic method that are available in Reiki healing System.

Distance Healing Symbol 

For performing a distance healing a special symbol is available.  Its name is "Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen"..  This symbol can be activated by invoking the name thrice.

Distance Reiki Healing symbol-What Does it Means?

There are two wonderful meaning for this symbol.. In the first one the entire name is broken into its various parts with every part having its own meaning

1) Hon: the start out of itself. , the center, the beginning, the source

2)Sha: Shining

3)Ze Walking in the right direction

4) Sho honest being, aim, goa

5)To be open to the deepest being in nature, silence.

Normally "Hon Sha Ze Sho Neb" means  no past, no present, no future and this the reason why it is said to work across space and time..  

This symbol can be used to send energy to speicific goal, individuals , events , past and future or target.

The second meaning is an excellent one which i personally love it is as follows "the Buddha in me contacts the Buddha in you"

This symbols is especially important for distance healing  and this can be also used in dealing with issues related to karma..

Explanation From Other Sources

Swami Vivekananda modern day exponent of Hinduism has in his lecture on Prana has made a quite interesting observation about healing and i distance healing.  Even though he speaks from a different perspective still i think  it will be appropriate appropriate to quote his words.  "Every thing is infectious in this world.  if your body be in a state of tension, it will have a tendency to produce the same tension in others.  if you are strong and healthy, those that live near you also have the tendency to become strong and healthy, but if you are sick and weak, those around will have the tendency to become the same.  In the case of one man trying to heal another, the first idea is simply transferring his own health to the other.  this is the primitive sort of healing.  Consciously or unconsciously , health can be transmitted.  a very strong man, living with a weak man, will make him a little stronger, whether he knows it or not..  When consciously done, it becomes quicker and and better in it s action.  Next comes those cases in which a man may not be very healthy himself, yet we know that he can bring health to another.  the first man in such a case , has a little more more control over the prana, and can rouse, for the time being his prana , as it were , to a certain level of vibration, and transmit  it to another person.  there has been cases where this process has been carried on at a distance, but in reality, there is no distance in the sense of a break.  Where is the distance that has a break? Is there any break between you and the sun? it is a continuous mass of matter, the sun being one part and, and you another then why cannot any force travel? There is no reason against it.   Cases of healing from a distance is perfectly true.  the prana can be transmitted to to a very great distance, but to one genuine case, there are hundreds of frauds.  This process of healing is not so easy as it is thought to be. "

The only difference is Distant Reiki healing  is truly very easy.

Reiki and science Behind It

IS REIKI REALLY SCIENTIFIC?

Whenever somebody calls me to know about energy healing or wants to undergo healing or while attending social events and when people start to speak with me about this stuff known as healing there is one inevitable question which i have to answer, it is nothing but  Is it really scientific?, Any scientific proof is available for the efficacy of Reiki?  Any scientific research has been done. My answer is an emphatic Yes.

Has Any Scientific Research Has Been Done?

Many scientific researches have been done to study the effects of Reiki by many scientific researchers. The conclusion is like this Reiki works and in particular it is very good in the case of Pain Management. it also works very well in minimizing the suffering of patients due to the negative impact of diseases.  Side effects of medicines administered are also reduced.  

A Simple Experiment to prove that Reiki Exists and Works

I have come across a simple experiment which I think you can also try in your home, it is quite simple.  And this is a simple but powerful proof of the existence of vital healing energy and that it really works

What is Reiki and How Does it Work?

What is Reiki?

From times immemorial man has been trying to improve and maintain a high degree of health.  Throughout the planet and in every civilization this attempt has been taking place.  As a result, many types of therapies were discovered and they can be classified as physical and nonphysical.  Other Therapies like Reiki, pranic healing are nonphysical and non-invasive therapies.Medical systems like the western medical system and Indian medical systems like Ayurveda and the Chinese medical systems come under this category of physical therapies.

Reiki is an energy healing modality.  It is a Japanese word which is made up of two words the first half Rei means universal, essence, mysterious power, transcendental spirit. The second half Ki means vital life force energy the meaning of the full word is as follows universal life force energy.  Any energy healing system is defined as 

Drugless supportive complementary therapy.  

While undergoing any type of healing simultaneously one must undergo treatment by a qualified physician also. Combining both systems will give the best results

 It can be used to cure both physical and mental health problems. It can be used to heal people of any age group including newborn babies.  Pets can also be subjected to treatment.It can also be used to heal various situations like marital conflicts, financial problems, human relations problems, etc.

History of Reiki

The beginning of this system of healing starts in the mid-1800.  Name of the founder is Mikao Usui.  He was a converted Christian and was a Dean of a small Christian university.  One day some f his students assked him about the healings performed by Jesus Christ and whether he can also do the same and teach them to do so.  Since Mikao Usui didn't know the answer , he decided to find answer to this question.  He first resigned from his job and went to America and studied at a seminary and finally he got disappointed as he was unable to find out the answer.  Then he remembered that Lord Buddha had also performed a lot of healing and so he went back to japan and studied Buddhist scriptures.  an abbot of a Buddhist monastery encouraged him in his pursuit and together with him it was decided that Mikao Usui must go to Mount Kuri Yama.  

After reaching Mount Kuriyama Mikao Usui engaged himself in intense meditation  and fasting for 21 days. On the 21st day he saw a flicker of light appearing in the sky and moving towards him.  Mikao Usui understood it  to be some sort of sign and the light striked him for a brief period of time in the center of his forehead.  He was in a trance like state for quite sometime.  After awakening he started to climb down the mountain by running and to his own surprise he realized that he had become stronger than before. This was his first miracle.  While climbing drown his right toe got wounded and started and immediately he cupped the toe with his hands and the bleeding stopped within short time and the wound got healed and this was his second miracle. 

And after reaching a road stand he ordered for a full meal , but the owner a old person recognized him to be a monk who had undergone intense meditation and fasting and advised usu to consume a special broth. But .Mikao Usui insisted for a full meal and ate the same without suffering with indigestion and this is said to be his third miracle.

Grand daughter of the road stand was suffering with pain because of a dental problem and Mikao Usui by putting on both sides his healing hands relieved the girl of her pain due to dental problem.  

How Does Reiki Works?

Reiki essentially acts over the pranic body and this causes changes in the physical body leading to an improved health condition. A practitioner because of his having undergone attunements and training can channel the healing energy into the body of patients.

 How Reiki therapy is administered?

This is done in two ways:

1.     Direct touch h

In the first, a patient is made to lie on a couch and the healer either touches the body or hovers his hands over the body of the patient.

In the second the patient need not visit the clinic of healer but just inform the healer of his problems and the practitioner administers healing with distance healing techniques.

The moment a practitioner intents start a healing session, Reiki starts to flow through his palms and while laying over the patient’s body it starts to flow into the body of the patient and give the necessary healing

During a session, the practitioner lays his hand at various specific positions over the body of the healee and the healee absorbs an adequate quantum of energy and to whichever area of his/her body do require it.  

Normally reiki is sensed as a warm flow, but it may also be sensed as cold flow or vibration, tickling sensations or neutral where nothing will be sensed but still energy will be flowing through the body of the patient.

What is experienced after the session?

After a session is completed the patient feels a sense of deep relaxation and also a sense of well-being, security, and peace.

In conclusion in today's highly stressful and tension-laden world undergoing Reiki healing will certainly bring a positive change in a person’s physical and mental health; it will also effect all-round improvement.
