Reiki Power Symbol
In the field
of Reiki Symbols have a very important role.
They are the very key in Reiki healing.
We need the symbols to unleash the healing power of Reiki.
Types of Reiki Symbols:
There are
two types of symbols
1) Traditional symbols – a) Power symbol
– Cho Ku Rei, Sei Hei ki, Han Sha She Zo Nen, Dai Ko Myo. In these the first three is taught within
level 2 in almost all styles of Reiki. The fourth one is taught only in mastership
training in classical Usui Reiki and it is used in Attuning candidates
undergoing training in Reiki.
2) Non Traditional symbols: They are many, for example Vasuddha, zonar
etc, each with its own application.

Symbol –Cho Ku Rei and its applications
The power symbol
whose name or mantra is Cho ku Rei is a very important symbol because it is the
one used to start a reiki session and to close the session. This is also known as the focus symbol. This is an all purpose symbol which can be
used at any time, for any purpose and also everywhere.
The
essential meaning of the power symbol is “placing all the powers of the
universe here”. It works like a switch
in the hands of a Reiki practitioner.
Applications:
1) This symbol helps to focus the energy
at one place. Drawing power symbol on any one particular part of the body help
to focus the energies on that particular part of the body. This is helpful in curing or healing not only
acute but also chronic conditions which do have a localized effect.
2) This symbol empowers other
symbols. Drawing power symbol at the
start of a session or any application and than drawing or applying other
symbols like the Sei He ki makes the other symbols effective.
3) During a reiki session if you are
encountering stagnated energies than using power symbol mentally will clear
away the stagnated energies. Drawing over
the walls and roof of a room vanquishes negative energies from the room. If you want to clean the area around a physical
space than simply draw the power symbol just above the physical space.
4) Reiki works at various levels:
spiritual, physical, mental and emotional level and power symbol gives
protection at all these levels.
5) Applying power symbol to all food
items you consume whether liquid or solid like tea, coffee, or any thing like
bread, idli or any staple type of food makes them tastier and healthier. Applying this symbol to water and than
drinking will help you in a profound way.
6) Applying power symbol to all the medicine
you are consuming makes them more effective and also minimizes the side
effects which might assosciated with those medicines.
7) Drawing power symbol over the
visiting cards, greeting cards or letters
or any document to be handed over the other person will enhance positive
relationship at all levels, professional and personal.
8) The power symbols assists in
achieving instantaneous connection the universal energy and oso using the same
helps in preventing the occurrence of bad events or misfortunes. Inharmonious negative energies around us are
the main reason for the occurrence of misfortunes. By applying power symbol on self or others
occurrence of misfortunes is greatly reduced.
9) While using affirmations using the
power symbols empowers the affirmations and makes them more effective and thus
it proves itself to be a law of attraction focussing tool.
10) At
the end of a healing session or any type of application using the power the
power symbols closes the session.
